Guided walks of the Rómer Museum - Poetry Day Walk

The city is full of poetry! Végvár battles, spirituality and world freedom, Aphrodite on Baross út. On our walk, we go through locations related to well-known and lesser-known figures in Győr's literary history, the route goes from humanism, through the poetry of Baroque and then Romantic to contemporary lyric. We follow in the footsteps of authors and poems such as Ferenc Wathay, Mátyás Nyéki Vörös, Antal Amade, Gergely Czuczor, Sándor Petőfi, Lajos Kassák, György Czigány, László Villányi and others. The walk is led by: Zsolt Szalai, museologist and poet
point of meeting: From 4:20 p.m. in front of the Várkazamata–Kőtár (Győr, Bécsi kapu tér 5.)

Tickets for the chosen walk: between April 7 and 9, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.; on April 10 from 4:20 p.m. at the information desk of the Esterházy Palace (Király u. 17, Győr).
Participation fee: HUF 1,000
