The residential building designed by Károly Mocsányi in 1902 is a rare example of Art Nouveau in downtown Győr. The two-story facade with a closed block of space fits imperceptibly into the usual streetscape, not even guessing what magnificent interior spaces the building hides. The new art of the turn of the century - Art Nouveau or Art Nouveau - has thoroughly reshaped the heritage of historical styles in the field of architecture. He has transformed the traditional architectural departments (framing of doors and windows, ledges, pilasters) and decorative motifs into unmistakably unique: sometimes decorative, elegant lines dominate, sometimes on the contrary, strict geometric shapes. The attention of the Art Nouveau architect covers every detail of the house, from the door handle of the entrance gate to the wrought iron railing and stucco decoration of the staircase to the wall covering of the salon. Let's discover the wonderful world of Art Nouveau together!
