Bronze Age treasures in Alpokalja, new discoveries, old questions
September 21 (Sunday), 17.00–18.30
The castle in Sopron is one of the best-known and most important sites in the world of the Central European Early Iron Age. From the second half of the 1800s, research of varying intensity and quality was replaced by systematic studies in 2019, which brought unprecedented finds to the surface. In addition to the many small objects, several larger finds shed new light on our knowledge of the site.
