Lazarus brothers at the Rómer house

🎶Lázár brothers at the Rómer house 🎸

The Lázár brothers - true to their names - are indeed a pair of brothers, Lázár Domokos and Ágoston. Their names may be familiar to Kornél Esti or Pegasus do not exist from bands, but they had an old plan to play music together in a duo. In their authentic, intimate, honest world, melancholy and humor, sadness and joy, the darker and brighter side of existence can be heard from them, all of which can be poured into clean, simple and beautiful forms. In 2018, they decided to seriously deal with this project. In the fall of 2020, their first LP was released under the title Hullámörés, which was presented in January 2021 at Müpa, and in the following years they toured the country with songs from the album. Their second LP was released in November 2023 under the title Before Rain, which was presented with a double-sold concert at MÜPÁ. In 2025, they produced a four-part, quarterly record set, whose first piece, ‘Spring’, debuted in March with a double performance at the House of Hungarian Music. The second single, entitled “Summer”, was presented in the Kobuci garden in Budapest in June 2025, and in October the album “Autumn” was played live for the first time in the theater of the UP Rendezvénytér. The winter single was first heard in the Hungarian Music House in March 2026 as part of the “Even year” performance.
