Poet of clay
Guided tour of the Margit Kovács permanent exhibition
The Kreszta house, restored in classicist style, was named after the owner of the spice and general store operating here at the turn of the century. Since the beginning of the 18th century, the Margit Kovács permanent exhibition has been housed in a two-story building. The ceramist and sculptor born in Győr is the creator of modern Hungarian ceramic art. The exhibition features small portraits with a realistic tone, compositions with a biblical theme, grotesque figures, lively genre pictures, and small sculptures inspired by folk art.
Join us on the guided tour of the museum teacher Major Lilla at the Margit Kovács permanent exhibition!
