Let the fascinating view of Lake Balaton and its surroundings captivate you! As part of the Museum in Boots! series, we invite travel lovers to a special program where painting and nature meet.
From Zalaújlak's birthplace to the Badacsony panorama, we follow József Egry's life journey. In addition to the cultural content, we complete the day with an easy tour and more informal free time, so that you can enjoy the beauty of the early summer landscape on your own.
Departure: Győr, 8:00 a.m.
Arrival: Győr, 19.30
Program:
• Zalaújlak – The roots: József Egry Memorial House (Egry József Zalaújlak Foundation)
• Egry József promenade - refreshing walk outdoors: 3 km light tour from Zalaújlak to Zalakaros, to the lookout
• Badacsony - Visit to the Egry József Memorial Museum
The exhibition will be presented by the Rómer Museum, art historian Fruzsina Menta Pápai.
Participation fee:
HUF 13,100 per person, which includes the travel cost, the entrance fee of the memorial house and museum. The fee does not include on-demand travel insurance.
Apply in person and at the same time Payment of the participation fee:
between April 14 and May 14, (Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Rómer Museum – Esterházy Palace (Győr, Király u. 17.)
Please be sure to bring a certificate of payment of the participation fee on the day of the event.

In the case of registration and payment of the participation fee, the name, contact information, and e-mail address of each traveling guest must be entered separately.
In case of unfavorable weather, the program will be implemented at a different time.
We will not be able to refund the participation fee in case of cancellation after May 14, 2026.

Those present accept the data management regulations of the Rómer Museum with their participation, which can be viewed on the website www.romer.hu.
Images/video recordings can be taken on the program. With your participation, you consent to RFMTM using the recordings on its social media platforms, website and publications.
