From the Venus statue to the sour cream woman
On the occasion of International Women's Day, visitors to the program can learn about the history of the sculptures depicting female figures in the public square of downtown Győr. The statues that stand out as the defining elements of the cityscape are known to many of us, as we meet them every day when driving through the city center.
The walk is led by art historian Menta Fruzsina Pápai.
Meeting point: from 2:50 p.m. in front of the Magyar Ispita - Péter Váczy collection (Győr, Nefelejcs köz 3.)
