Győr 1944. On April 13, he was hit by the first and most serious air raid, followed by two dozen or so more. During World War II, the city had a significant military industry and was an important railway junction, making it a prominent target of the Allied Air Force. It became the country's third most bomb-damaged rural town with hundreds of deaths, families with land and destroyed industry. The exhibition commemorates this series of tragic events that took place 80 years ago.

The exhibition displays active and passive forms of defense against air raids. The bombing of Győr's allied after the German occupation on March 19, 1944 was only a matter of time. We can see a shelter and its equipment, while contemporary film newsreels inform about the possible forms of air defense. In the display cases, we can see air defense gunners and equipment for a member of the air defense crew.

The exhibition has a main role in the history, preserved stories and their relics: the history of the St. Florian statue, the wagon factory IDs and documents related to the bombing on April 13, preserved in legacies. The story of the stroller, referred to as the miracle of Ménfőcsanak, is given a prominent role, which was exhibited in an interior reminiscent of a destroyed apartment interior of the time.

In the meantime, visitors can roam the streets of the 3D-reconstructed 3D reconstructed city in VR glasses, and use a touch screen interface to view images of the destruction on a map.
