The historical exhibition organized in the Esterházy Palace commemorates the community of citizens of Győr. As a precursor, the Roman-era Arrabona flashes, and then the story reaches industrial society through the Middle Ages and the modern era. The center of the exhibition was those persons and families whose city not only played a decisive role in their lives and careers, but they themselves contributed to the development of the city, and served the community with their activities, knowledge and wealth.
The exhibition can be visited for the last time on September 12, 2021. It can be viewed again with the help of our virtual exhibition.
