A representative selection of about 100 artefacts on two floors of the Iron Stump House, renovated with the support of the Hungarian Genius Program with HUF 54 million, provides a comprehensive picture of the collection's rich fine art material. The exhibited paintings and graphics present the main stylistic trends and significant individual aspirations of 20th-century Hungarian and Western European art.

The exhibition presents our art between the two world wars and after the Second World War, to the art of Hungarian artists living abroad and their Western European contemporaries living abroad in the 1960s and 1970s. This representative overview includes artists such as Lajos Kassák, Béla Kádár, Lajos Tihanyi, Imre Ámos, Ilona Keserü, Tamás Hencze, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Georges Rouault, Sonia Delaunay and others. The outlined fine art panorama is colored by the works of the famous Chinese painter Qi Baishi and the Vietnamese Nguyễn Sáng.
