The Rómer Flóris Art and History Museum was created in 2013 by combining the Xantus János Museum in Győr and the City Art Museum, founded in 1994. The organizational change also created an opportunity to reconsider the role of the yearbook edited in Győr. the three territorial
scope of the city museum - Rómer Flóris Museum, Sopron Museum, Hanság Museum - and the staff of the Győr Diocese Archives was formed. In addition to retaining the main title Arrabona, the subtitle of the yearbook is hereinafter the Regional Scientific Yearbook. As can be guessed from the subtitle the published studies
According to our intentions, its theme and author are connected to the three former historical counties. Of course, we also intend to publish theses with a national outlook in connection with historical anniversaries.
We trust that those interested in the history of our county and settlements and the professional audience will benefit from the renewed Arrabona yearbook, which now has a history of more than half a century.
