Honey is the oldest sweetener on humanity, and the history of gingerbread is almost as old as its use. The temporary exhibition of the Rómer Flóris Art and History Museum, created in cooperation with the BTM Kiscelli Museum, introduces the visitor to the past of the puppet-skinning profession, offering a glimpse into the small rural workshops, the gingerbread business of the Zechmeisters and the large-scale factory of a guild master from Pest, Imre Beliczay and his descendants.
