In the wake of the heroes - Remembering the '56 in Győr

Győr was an important center for the region's revolution. The large number of industrial workers working here drove away the party cadre leaders of the plants and took control of their own destiny. The movement also claimed many victims in our city: a volley of fire was fired in front of the prison, and after the fall of the revolution, the cruel retribution did not fail. During our walk, we recall the events in Győr that happened seven decades ago.
