about the creator himself:
I was born in Gecsé (Veszprém county) in 1945, where my father was an evangelical pastor for forty years. I have lived in Győr since I was 12 years old, now I am a widow, I have three sons. I worked as a technician and plant engineer, at the Győr companies (Richards and Lenweaver) who were still operating at the time.
My hobby was knotted Persian carpet weaving, making turned and carved wooden ornaments. Since 2006, I have been painting pictures on all subjects as a pensioner. I use acrylic paint on canvas and fiberboard as well. So far, a total of 165 of my pictures have been completed. I have had exhibitions organized by the Paál László Painting Circle on several occasions, and my works have been continuously featured in the exhibitions of creative pensioners for five years. But I also had an exhibition in my wife's native village, Abdá, and I also won an award at the all-arts exhibition organized in ETO Park. I selected my „favorites” for this exhibition from the works of the mentioned hobbies.
